get here!

I am so beyond ready for fall. I’ve been working on some chai tea recipes in anticipation. The high temp today is expected to be 97 degrees. But I don’t care what the thermometer says, I am turning down the A/C (sorry environment – blame mother nature!) and having a hot toddy on this, the first Sunday morning of October! Then, once I perfect the chai tea French toast and chai syrup, I will share it with you, even if the weather does not cooperate.

Vanilla Chai Tea Hot Toddy

1 scoop Trader Joe’s Spicy Chai Tea Latte mix
8 ounces boiling hot water
1 ounce Navan Vanilla Liqueur (by Grand Mariner)
1/2 ounce amaretto liqueur
Cinnamon stick, garnish

Place the scoop chai mix in a large mug. Mix in the hot water and stir until combined. Add the Navan and amaretto, stir well, and garnish with a cinnamon stick. Sit back, relax, and enjoy.

My family and I were just talking about making a hot toddy. Your recipe is very festive for the season, all I’ll need to do is get the liquor. Plus our weather is cooperating; we are in the high 40’s. Love fall, although winter is right behind, and I could do without snow…. oh maybe some snow for the holidays, but that’s enough for me.

Sounds delicious! The top picture looks so inviting. I might just need to come over for one after a long days work. 🙂
