Does he/she love spaghetti?
Do you want to see a huge smile on their face?
Then make this – and be sure to have them help you!
Joy!

This recipe comes from the Rhodes website and was a huge crowd-pleaser at classes this summer.

Spaghetti Garlic Bread

1 loaf Rhodes Bread Dough, thawed to room temperature
6-ounces spaghetti, cooked
1 cup marinara sauce
8-ounces mozzarella cheese, cut into 1/2 –inch cubes
1 egg white, lightly beaten

Parmesan cheese
Garlic powder
Parsley flakes

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Spray the paper with Pam.

Roll loaf into a 12×16-inch rectangle atop parchment paper. Carefully transfer to the parchment-lined baking sheet.  Cover with plastic wrap and let rest for 15 minutes.

Meanwhile, cook spaghetti according to package instructions. Drain and then return to pot and stir in marinara sauce.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Remove wrap from dough. Mound spaghetti, lengthwise, in a 4-inch strip down the center of the dough. Top with cheese cubes.

Make cuts 1 1/2 inches apart on long sides of dough to within 1/2 inch of filling.

Begin braiding by folding top and bottom strips toward filling. Then braid strips left over right, right over left.  Finish by pulling the last strip over and tucking it under the braid.

Brush the top of the braid with egg white and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, and parsley.

Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown. Cool for 10 minutes then slice to serve.
