vacation-worthy pedicure

Yesterday afternoon, I stopped in for a last-minute pedicure, before hopping on a plane for our first vacation of the summer.

So, to get myself in the vacation mood, I did what most women do and went for a pedicure.

We’re going to a location where pretty toes are a must.

The last time we were in Hawaii was in 1998 – the summer after Marissa was in 5th grade and Connor had just finished 1st grade.

It’s been a while!

That time, the inside of Marissa’s mouth became raw and painfully sore from eating too much of this!

And Connor was stung by one of these! Ouch!

They will both be out of harm’s way this time… since they are not coming. Marissa is working and Connor is in school. Sorry, you two!
